Primary Teachers

We are very proud to recruit teachers who nurture and inspire our students. Primary school is the pillar for the future education and our teachers always strive to provide a safe and friendly space for our pupils, where they will have a chance to discover and nurture their passions.

For the safety of our pupils, all our employees have to provide satisfactory references, qualification documents, as well as undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

I started teaching in 2002 but six years ago I was given an opportunity to do what has turned out to be my dream job. I have been the Head of Primary for three years now, and I am extremely lucky to be working with a great group of talented teachers.
However, it is teaching that remains my favourite and most rewarding part of the job. The wonderful thing I have learnt is that you can teach the same content in hundreds of different ways – I love the challenge of inventing new ways of presenting and practising material in class. I believe teaching children is an exciting adventure for everyone involved.
I graduated from English Philology and also have a degree in Early Years Education.
I spend my free time reading books or watching films.

After gaining my Master’s degree in teaching Polish at the University of Lublin, I completed my Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of New Orleans, while working as the assistant at the Intensive English Language Program at my college. Living in a unique city like New Orleans was always exciting and taught me the importance of being flexible and adaptable. I like working at BISUL and enjoy building strong relationships with my students.

I started playing piano at the age of 7 and continued my music education until I gained a Master’s degree in Composition and Theory of Music at the Academy of Music in Łódź. Since 2009 I’m a member of Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Choir. I’m teaching Music in BISUL in all three sections since the school was founded. As a Suzuki piano teacher, I follow a method that is based on the “mother tongue” approach. I believe that every child can learn to play an instrument as they do have all abilities required to learn their first language.

After completing my degree in History at the University of Liverpool, I spent a number of years working in local newspapers. In 2015, I obtained my PGCE and trained to become a teacher in my home city of Leeds, cutting my teeth in year 6.

It had long been a dream to live abroad and teach in an international school, so after three years of teaching in Peterborough, I moved here to Łódź. I flew over for my interview in 2019 and immediately fell in love both with the friendly, supportive atmosphere you pick up on as soon as you set foot in BISUL and with this beautiful city.

I have been a part of BISUL community since 2014. I graduated from Education through Art at the University of Łódź and Computer Science and Information Technology for Teachers at Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Umiejętności in Łódź. In my work as an Art and ICT teacher, I combine my love for manual skills and attention to detail. I’m into electronic devices and the possibilities they offer. As I am also fond of music, I play the guitar and the church organ. I spend my free time cycling and reading books.

Irrespective of the fact that I have been teaching for many, many years, teaching Polish classes still gives me a lot of satisfaction. It is a never-ending journey into the world of literature and language studies, during which we discover the sensitivities of the words.

I am a graduate of Polish philology at the University of Lodz, where I also completed my postgraduate studies. I am also an examiner of the Eighth Grade Exam and Polish Matura.

In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, and plan holiday trips. However, France occupies a special place in my field of interest, and French is the second subject I teach.

I have been a teacher for over 20 years now. I have been working at BISofUL since 2014, mainly teaching English, History, and Geography in years 5&6, but other groups or subjects don’t scare me either. Every summer, I teach English for Academic Purposes at universities in the UK and also examine candidates during Cambridge and Trinity College London language exams. I believe in cooperation, not competition, and encourage my pupils and students to reflect on their own learning, in order to improve it. I’m interested in psychology and history, and in my free time, I do sewing, DIY, and learn foreign languages.

As a child I played I was a teacher. My dream came true in 2007 when I began tutoring. Just before graduating from the University of Łódź, I started teaching English in a language school. For a few years, I was building my joyful experience of working with the youngest ones. Then I got an opportunity to develop my teaching and pedagogical skills in junior high school.
Observing children’s achievements, being by their side, helping them to grow and believe in themselves, all that inspire my teaching passion every day.

I´m studying French, so I can easily put myself in my students’ shoes and realize what learners’ needs are. I love travelling and photography. I’m also into mindfulness and naturopathy.

My adventure with Spanish started in High School. I studied Spanish Philology with English at the University of Łódź. I also completed a year of study at the Universidad de Vigo in Spain.

My greatest passion is to travel, exploring new horizons.
During classes, I am committed to creating a welcoming environment in order to make every student feel confident with Spanish.

Having completed my university studies in Spain and Poland, in addition to having chosen to develop professionally in a foreign country. They make me aware of how necessary the knowledge of a language is to get closer to the culture of any part of the world, and this is what I try to transmit to my students in BISUL.

My teaching journey is a lifelong commitment to learning. I bring in significant years (11 years) of teaching experience in my classroom. The true passion and love for kids, new knowledge, and skills make me more effective as a professional. The feeling of accomplishment and contentment to see them responding to my teaching has been the greatest inspiration for me.
I hail from the Educator’s background. I have earned my master’s degree in English Literature along with a diploma in Child Psychology and Business Administration degree from India. Thereafter when I came to Poland (Lodz) there were no English Schools. I have witnessed BISUL coming a long way demonstrating huge growth from 13 pupils to more than 100 pupils. I am fortunate to be a part of this excelling institution, sharing my expertise with ks1 and ks2 for the BISUL family.
